Top Two Debate on KQED
Christina Tobin’s campaign manager Richard Winger and California Lieutenant Governor Abel Maldonado debated Proposition 14, the Top Two Primary on the morning of May 10 on radio station KQED. You can listen to the interview below.
The first 12 minutes consist of an interview with political scientist Eric McGhee. The remaining 48 minutes is the debate between California’s Lieutenant Governor Abel Maldonado, who sponsored the bill that put Proposition 14 on the ballot, and Richard Winger of Ballot Access News.

Good job Richard. Is this a compliment to the Libertarian Party that the old parties are trying to remove it from the general election? How can it be called a “primary” when people can vote for a candidate to represent a party that is not their own? Thanks for your efforts to defend my freedom,
