I voted for Christina for Sec. of State. Others did too. Yet there was no mention of her getting ANY votes in the corporate media that I looked at. (newspapers).
We MUST get prop 14 stopped before it becomes law. II'll write to Maldonado & Arnold. I'm unemployed and I'm making a small contribution.

IRV is an excellant choice for statewide (Governor, Secretary of State, and U. S. Senate) and executive (mayor and President) candidates where only one person is to be elected. However, legislative bodies are supose to be representive of the various constituencies and this can not be accomplished in districts where only one candidate is elected. Instead, elections using a system of proportional representation from districts where several candidates are to be elected are better. In non-partisan elections such as city councils, a single transferable vote would allow voters to rank the candidates in order of preference. In partisan races such as State Assembly a list of candidates from each party would be presented to the voters. Proportional Representation is the superior model for filling legislative seats.

Good job Richard. Is this a compliment to the Libertarian Party that the old parties are trying to remove it from the general election? How can it be called a “primary” when people can vote for a candidate to represent a party that is not their own? Thanks for your efforts to defend my freedom,

Liberty or License? Love or Fear? Liberty causes respectful obediance... Licence causes fearful obediance. How will I work if I lose my License? How will I pay my busines bills if I lose my license... License is same as a title of Nobility. Republic Form of Government = Liberty "Bill of Rights". Democracy Form of Government = "License as a title of Nobility" Liberty or License? Love or Fear?
